Locality Allowance definition

Locality Allowance means the conditions and entitlements paid to employees who are appointed to work at named centres as prescribed in a Directive relating to Locality Allowance, issued by the industrial relations Minister under section 54 of the Public Service Act 2008.

  • Locality Allowance as per clause 35 of this Agreement is paid to Assistant Watchhouse Officers.

  • Locality allowance rates prescribed in Schedule 4(6), Locality Allowance will be indexed in accordance with any increases to District Allowance rates as prescribed in the Public Service Award 1992 as amended from time to time.

  • A Staff Member who is required to temporarily reside outside of the Perth metropolitan area and within the state of Western Australia for a period of greater than 1 month is entitled to a locality allowance in accordance with Schedule 4(6), Locality Allowance.

  • Locality Allowance will be payable as taxable income to all EASC employees, except casual employees employed under Clause 5.3, at the rates for the locality in the table below that is the primary place of residence for their employment with EASC.
