local transactions means purchases made by customers resident / registered in the RSA; “parties” means the Seller and the Purchaser (and, if applicable, any surety hereto) and “party” means one of them; “RSA” means the Republic of South Africa; “sale” means any sale transaction effected pursuant to this agreement; “statement” means a statement of account corresponding to an invoice(s) delivered in terms of this agreement; “VAT” means Value Added Tax, as levied in terms of the Value Added Tax Act 89 of 1991, as amended; “Purchaser” means the entity identified as such in any invoice and in the application; “Seller” means any of the companies comprising the Afmetco Group referred to below 1 from which the Purchaser may order goods from time to time, the provisions of this document shall apply to any order placed with an associate or subsidiary company (as defined in the Companies Act 61 of 1973, as amended) of any of the companies comprising the Afmetco Group; “shipping document” means the invoice, bill of lading or other document applicable to any shipment of goods. 1The following companies comprise the Afmetco Group: Afmetco (Pty) Ltd (Reg.
