Local sewer definition

Local sewer means any sewer constructed, operated or maintained by any municipality. “Local sewer” does not include any sewer that has been incorporated into the sewerage system under s. 200.37 (2). If the classification of any sewer is unclear, the presumption shall be that the sewer is local.
Local sewer means a sewer that abuts and directly serves individual properties. The main purpose of these sewers is to receive the wastewater discharge from individual buildings for subsequent conveyance to the treatment facility through trunk sewers. Sometimes called street sewer.
Local sewer means a sewer owned and operated by a governmental unit other than the District.

  • Local Service Provider (LSP) is the LEC that provides retail local Exchange Service to an End User. The LSP may or may not provide any physical network components to support the provision of that End User’s service.
