Local Ombudsman Program means either a program of the AAA or its Subcontractor that is designated by the State Ombudsman to carry out the duties of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program with respect to the Planning and Service Area. The selection is in accordance with policies and procedures established by the State Ombudsman and which meets the State Ombudsman’s criteria for designation and concurrence.
