Local controller definition
Local controller means a controller supervising the operation of traffic signals at a single or two closely spaced intersections.
Local controller means a controller of S.E.S. units in a local government area appointed under section 17;

Design efforts would include, but not be limited to: Signal layout for the proposed signal; Conduit and conductor schedules for the signal installation; Local controller signal timings and phasing; Determine appropriate traffic signal notes; Determine signal equipment quantity estimates for signal construction; and Determine equipment details and any special project details.
The communication between the VPP/Cloud controller and the Local controller will be in 2 seconds interval, for commands, set points and status data (status of the plant, available power, current power measurements…).
They will be configured by the plant operator of the Local controller.
