Local Access Line definition

Local Access Line means a telecommunications channel or message path between a customer’s service location and the serving central office switch that is used to provide local exchange service to a customer.
Local Access Line means the dedicated telecommunication circuit or other interconnection leased from a Telecommunication Services Operator, which facilitates permanent connection of a Connection to a relevant node within SITA network, when and whereby the connecting for the purpose of providing the Service is required.
Local Access Line has the meaning given to that term in the Telecommunications Act. NNI means a point of interconnect between the Supplier Network and the network of the Customer. Order means the submission of a physical or online application for Services by the Customer to the Supplier

Examples of Local Access Line in a sentence

  • The Link service charge covers the surveillance of the Local Access Line (up to 2048 kbps capacity) and the provision and maintenance of the equipment (modems, Digital Service Units) to operate the line (including provision of spares, repair and on-site maintenance).

  • A one-time installation charge applies when SITA provides the equipments at both ends of the Local Access Line.

  • This Local Access Line test service is available by prior arrangement and timeslots.
