LMAA definition

LMAA means the London Maritime Arbitrators Association.
LMAA means local medicaid administrative authority, which includes any of the following:

Examples of LMAA in a sentence

  • The arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA) Terms current at the time when the arbitration proceedings are commenced.

  • In cases where neither the claim nor any counterclaim exceeds the sum of US$50,000 (or such other sum as the parties may agree) the arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the LMAA Small Claims Procedure current at the time when the arbitration proceedings are commenced.

Related to LMAA

  • UNCITRAL means the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law; and

  • LCIA means the London Court of International Arbitration;

  • ICC Rules means the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in effect on the date the applicable arbitration proceeding begins.

  • Mediation Rules As defined in Section 2.03(h)(i).

  • Conciliation means the attempted resolution of issues raised by a complaint, or by the investigation of such complaint, through informal negotiations involving the aggrieved person, the respondent, and the Secretary.

  • UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules means the arbitration rules of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.

  • WIPO means the World Intellectual Property Organization;

  • Roster ’ means a list of persons quali- fied to provide services as neutrals.

  • Arbitration Board has the meaning set forth in Section 9.10.

  • Dispute Resolution Scheme means the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commission or such other dispute resolution scheme approved or provided for in accordance with section 95 of the Act;

  • Conciliator means an individual appointed as such in terms of section 82;

  • JAMS means JAMS, Inc. or its successor entity, a judicial arbitration and mediation service.

  • SIAC means the Singapore International Arbitration Centre;

  • Benchmark Review means a review of the Services carried out in accordance with paragraphs 2.1 to 2.3 of Schedule 7 (Value for Money) of this Framework Agreement to determine whether those Services represent Good Value;

  • Arbitration Rules means the AAA’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures.

  • DSX Panel means a cross connect bay or panel used for the termination of equipment and facilities operating at digital rates.

  • CEDR means the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution;

  • Arbitration means any arbitration whether or not administered by a permanent arbitral institution;

  • CPR means cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

  • HKIAC has the meaning set forth in Section 9.13.

  • Panel means the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers;

  • Cul-de-sac means such means of access having length up to 150 m with an additional turning space not less than 81 square meters in area having no dimension less than 9 m;

  • AAA means the American Arbitration Association.

  • Trade association means an entity recognized by the State in which the entity is doing business as a trade association and shall not include an organization that is formed for the purposes of providing insurance. “Transaction cutoff date” for weekly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday of each week and for monthly data reporting is 8 p.m. Central time on Friday after the first Sunday of the month.

  • Arbiter has the meaning set forth in Section 2.3(c).

  • AAA Rules has the meaning set forth in Section 11.2.
