Liquid Electrolyte definition

Liquid Electrolyte means a liquid phase electrolytic solution comprising at least one salt dissolved in at least one liquid non-aqueous polar solvent; furthermore bi-phased electrolyte systems in which a liquid electrolyte coexists with a gel electrolyte in an electrode or in the separator are to be considered as Liquid Electrolytes and not Gel Electrolytes.
