Lifting contract definition

Lifting contract means a contract for the supply and operation of a crane or cranes together with the planning, supervision and execution of the lifting operation, which is the type of contract which these terms and conditions are intended to regulate. They are not intended or designed to regulate contracts involving other specialist skills such as mechanical erection contracts.
