Lifting definition

Lifting means the process pursuant to which petroleum which has been produced from the Field and which has been stored in an Floating Production and Storage unit is moved to one or more oceangoing vessels.
Lifting means a cargo of Seller's Oil scheduled to be loaded onto a Vessel which Buyer presents at the Load Port in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement. "Lift", "Lifts" and other derivatives shall be construed accordingly.
Lifting means the vertical movement of a patient or the support of part or all of a patient’s body.

  • Examples of construction submittals required include but are not limited to: Contractors Safety Action Plan, Fire Prevention Plan, Proposed Project Schedule, Demolition, Shoring, Falsework and Lifting of Materials.

  • Submittals must also follow the requirements outlined in BNSF Review Comment Sheets, Use of Cranes & Lifting of Materials Submittal Schedule, BNSF Guidelines for Preparation of Bridge Demolition & Removal Plan and the BNSF-UPRR Guidelines for Temporary Shoring.
