Licensing Activities definition
Licensing Activities means the efforts of RECIPIENT or its Collaborator to negotiate, execute or enforce a License Agreement.
Licensing Activities means granting rights to third parties to Intellectual Property Rights related to Products.
Licensing Activities means the negotiation of, or determination to enter into, any license agreement by ASCAP with a licensee (a “music user” as defined in AFJ2) to publicly perform musical works in the ASCAP repertory, including specifically any discussion of proposed license rates and terms, or the oversight of negotiation or execution of license agreements. Licensing Activities shall not include communications regarding (i) the status of licensing negotiations (other than proposed rates and other terms of potential license agreements); (ii) terms and conditions of executed license agreements; or (iii) the conduct or resolution of a proceeding under Section IX of AFJ2.

The INSTITUTE shall not be responsible for, and no Grant funds may be used to pay for, any costs or expenses associated with the RECIPIENT’s Licensing Activities.

More Definitions of Licensing Activities
Licensing Activities means all AFL product sales, sales promotions, advertising and endorsement arrangements conducted by the AFL Consumer Products Department incorporating Intellectual Property. Player means an AFL Player who is also a member of the AFLPA. Product means any product which is produced by an AFL Licensee and sold through retail or wholesale channels. Team Product means an image with four or more Players combined, whether it be from one complete image or a montage of Players to form one image (from the same or different Clubs), and includes Premiership team product.
Licensing Activities means activity involved in or related to the conveyance of any right to a third-party Transferee Candidate or Distributor Candidate by operation hereunder, with the objective of entering into a Transfer or Distribution Agreement with such Transferee Candidate or Distributor Candidate. Rights conveyed under this Agreement and any consequent Transfer or Distribution Agreement include only license rights to a Transferee for manufacturing and distribution rights to a Distributor, rights arising under contract or original equipment manufacturing ("OEM") agreements, or consulting agreements wherein CTTC, MARINEO, DELTA and/or an agreed third party may be the OEM provider of manufactured product or the provider of consulting services to other third parties.

Laws of Australian Football means the rules of Australian Football as determined by the AFL from time to time. List means in respect of each Club, its Primary List and, if applicable, Rookie List of Players maintained by the AFL. Minimum Medical Standards means the minimum medical standards agreed by AFL and AFLPA and set out in Annexure C and any variation to those standards agreed by AFL and AFLPA from time to time. Medical Officer means any duly qualified medical practitioner appointed by the Club or AFL. Off Season means any period of the calendar year that falls outside:

List means in respect of each AFL Club, any or all of its Primary List, Rookie List, Long Term Injury List maintained by AFL. Long Term Injury List has the same meaning as described in the AFL Rules.

AFL Protected Sponsor means one or more of the four sponsors (or such greater number as agreed between AFL and AFLPA) of the AFL nominated by the AFL in writing to AFLPA from time-to-time.
