Lewd definition

Lewd exhibition” means an exhibition which is not morally innocent, that
Lewd means licentious, lecherous, dissolute, debauched, impure, salacious or pornographic.
Lewd or ‘lascivious’ means that the exposure or exhibition of the sexual organs involves an ‘unlawful indulgence in lust, eager for sexual indulgence’".

  • Lewd, vulgar, offensive or abusive conduct, speech, and/or dress are not acceptable.

  • Lewd or lascivious act as defined in subdivision (a) or (b) of Section 288.

  • Lewd, indecent or obscene conduct or expression on District-owned or controlled property, or at District sponsored or supervised functions.

  • Lewd or lascivious acts as defined in paragraph (2) of subdivision (b) of Section 288 of the Penal Code.

  • Lewd, indecent, or offensive conduct is prohibited on ground and online.

  • Lewd, indecent or obscene conduct or inappropriate attire that is disruptive or inconsistent for the context of the activity.

  • Lewd or indecent conduct includes, but is not limited to, any unauthorized use of electronic or other devices to make an audio or video record that would be an invasion of privacy pursuant to ORS163.700.

  • Harasses means a pattern or course of conduct directed toward another individual that includes, but is not limited to, repeated or continuing unconsented contact, that would cause a reasonable person to suffer emotional distress, and that actually causes emotional distress to the victim. Harassment shall include harassing or obscene phone calls as prohibited by Section 1172 of this title and conduct prohibited by Section 850 of this title.   • Prisoner means any individual involuntarily confined or detained in a penal institution. The term is intended to encompass individuals sentenced to such an institution under a criminal or civil statute, individuals detained in other facilities by virtue of statutes or commitment procedures which provide alternatives to criminal prosecution or incarceration in a penal institution, and individuals detained pending arraignment, trial, or sentencing.

  • Violent student means a student under the age of 21 who:

  • Sexual assault has the same meaning as in RCW 70.125.030.

  • Plagiarism means to take and present as one's own a material portion of the ideas or words of another or to present as one's own an idea or work derived from an existing source without full and proper credit to the source of the ideas, words, or works. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Peddler means any person, firm or corporation, either a resident or a nonresident of the city, who has no permanent regular place of business and who goes from dwelling to dwelling, business to business, place to place, or from street to street, carrying or transporting goods, wares or merchandise and offering or exposing the same for sale.

  • Harassment, intimidation, or bullying means any gesture, any written, verbal or physical act, or any electronic communication, as defined in N.J.S.A. 18A:37-14, whether it be a single incident or a series of incidents that:

  • Intimidation means an unjustified threat or other action that is intended to cause fear or apprehension in a student.

  • Personal harassment means any improper behaviour by a person employed by the Employer that is directed at and offensive to another person employed by the Employer which the first person knew or ought reasonably to have known would be unwelcome. Personal harassment comprises objectionable conduct, comment, act or display that demeans, belittles or causes personal humiliation or embarrassment to the recipient.

  • Sexually motivated ’ means that one of the purposes for which the defendant committed the crime was for the purpose of the defendant’s sexual gratification.

  • Cannabinoid means any of the chemical compounds that are the active constituents of marijuana.

  • Assault means “assault” as defined in Iowa Code section 708.1.

  • Violent offense means a violent offense as defined in RCW 9.94A.030;

  • Fungus means any type or form of fungus, including mold or mildew, and any mycotoxins, spores, scents or by-products produced or released by fungi.

  • Sexually violent offense means an offense for which a conviction has been entered for any of the following indictable offenses:

  • Esthetician means a person licensed under this chapter to engage in the practice of esthetics.
