Levelized cost means “The present value of the total cost of building and operating a generating plant over its economic life, converted to equal annual payments. Levelized means an even amount of revenue requirement over a period of time that is equivalent to the present value of the stream of revenue requirements that would be determined for the same period of time based upon the declining book value of the items subject to the levelization. The return to be used in the present value calculations is based on the net of tax rate of return authorized by the Commission in the utility's last general rate case.

Examples of Levelized in a sentence

  • The total amount of the Levelized Security required by Section 8.3.1 shall be the amount set forth in Exhibit 8.3.2 for each calendar year.

  • If Seller fails to pay any amount due to PacifiCorp within the time provided for payment under this Agreement, PacifiCorp shall be entitled to and shall draw upon the Levelized Security.
