Shoreland means land, as defined in Minn. Stat. § 103F.205, subd. 4, located within 1,000 feet from the normal high water mark of a lake, pond, or flowage and 300 feet of a river or stream or the landward side of floodplain delineated by ordinance on such a river or stream, whichever is greater.
Spring means a source of water where an aquifer comes in contact with the ground surface.
LHSIA means the Local Health System Integration Act, 2006, and the regulations made under it, as it and they may be amended from time to time;
Bay means parking bay;
Warden means the Warden In-charge of Hall of Residence VIII and includes other Wardens of the said Hall.
Panchayat means an institution (by whatever name called) of self-government constituted under article 243B, for the rural areas;
Center means the center for educational performance and information created in section 94a.
Crosswalk means that part of a roadway at an intersection included within the connections of the

SADC means the Southern African Development Community;
Service Road means a road or lane provided at the front, rear or side of a plot for service purpose;
Parkway means the area between a sidewalk and the curb or traffic lane. It may be planted or unplanted, and with or without pedestrian egress.
Crossing means a utility facility constructed over, under, or across a railroad right-of-way. The term does not include longitudinal occupancy of railroad right-of-way.
Shoreline means the upper reaches of the wash of the waves, other than storm and seismic waves, at high tide during the season of the year in which the highest wash of the waves occurs, usually evidenced by the edge of vegetation growth, or the upper limit of debris left by the wash of the waves.
Façade means the principal front or fronts of a building.
PETE means polyethylene terephthalate, labeled by the SPI code #1.
Conifer means a tree that is a Douglas-fir, true fir, pine, western hemlock, spruce, or cedar.
Parkland means any publicly owned land which is designated or used as a public park, recreation area, wildlife or waterfowl refuge or historic site.
Parade means any procession or body of pedestrians, except members of the Armed Forces, numbering more than 30, standing, marching or walking on any street or sidewalk, or any group of vehicles numbering ten or more, except funeral processions, standing or moving on any street;
Village means a village specified by the Governor by public notification to be a village for the purposes of this Part and includes a group of villages so specified.
Loft means an intermediary floor on a residual space in a pitched roof; above normal floor level with a maximum height of 1.5 metres and which is constructed or adopted for storage purposes;
Expressway means a divided arterial highway for through traffic with full or partial control of access with an excess of fifty percent of all crossroads separated in grade.
Lane means a public thoroughfare which provides a secondary means of access to a parcel or parcels and which is registered in a land titles office;
Bishop means the Bishop of the Roman Catholic diocese of Leeds in which the Academy Trust Company is situated (as defined in Canon law) and includes any person exercising Ordinary jurisdiction in his name (including Vicars General and Episcopal Vicars) and any person delegated by him, including officers of the Diocese;
Suite means an elevated box or suite which is customarily an enclosed private or collective compartment inside the Stadium, with direct access to guests’ Seats, which are separated from other Seats in the Stadium.
Frontage means and refer to all the property on one side of a street between two intersecting streets measured along the line of the street, or if the street is dead-ended, then all of the property abutting on one side between an intersecting street and the dead end of the street.
