The Contractor agrees to search monthly the HHS-Office of Inspector General ("OIG") and Texas Health and Human Services Commission Office of Inspector General ("HHSC-OIG") List of Excluded Individuals/Entities ("LEIE") websites to capture exclusions and reinstatements that have occurred since the last search and to immediately report to HHSC-OIG any exclusion information the Contractor discovers.
The University will regularly check the "List of Excluded Individuals/Entities" (LEIE), maintained by the Office of Inspector General, United States Department of Health and Human Services (“OIG”) to determine if any Respondents have been excluded from participation in federal health care programs, as that term is defined in 42 U.S.C. §1320a-7b(f).
The EPLS website includes GSA/EPLS, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Inspector General’s (OIG) List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE), and the Department of Treasury’s (Treasury) Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.
An individual or entity included on the LEIE is ineligible to participate, either directly or indirectly, in the MA Program.
