Legislative analysis definition

Legislative analysis means a plain language analysis describing the important features of the legislation being considered and factual information to enable the Legislative Operating Committee to make informed decisions regarding legislation. A legislative analysis shall include a statement of the legislation’s terms and substance; intent of the legislation; a description of the subject(s) involved, including any conflicts with Oneida or other law, key issues, potential impacts of the legislation and policy considerations; and shall be in a consistent format as determined by the Legislative Operating Committee.
