LEED Commissioning definition

LEED Commissioning means the commissioning of the building energy systems which is one of the key elements of LEED Certification. The objective of LEED Commissioning is to insure that the goals of reduced energy use, lower operating costs and improved occupant productivity have been met.

  • Should these services be required, we would estimate the fees as follows: LEED Registration: $15,000 LEED Documentation (by RA+A): $35,000 LEED Commissioning (by outside consultant): $40,000 LEED Certification could increase the construction cost of the project by as much as 10-15%.

  • A one-day workshop will be conducted by the Design Professional, CxA, and the Owner’s User Group in which the Owner’s Project Requirement Document will be developed, as part of the LEED Commissioning Prerequisite.

  • The LEED Commissioning/TAB Professional's Services shall include all activities described in the Request for Proposal for LEED Commissioning Authority and Testing-Adjusting-Balancing issued in December 2014 (the "RFP") for the Project, the proposal and clarifications submitted in response to the RFP, including any services required in accordance with the Project drawings and specifications, and shall continue until the completion of the Project, unless terminated as provided for in Article 8 below.

  • The Parties agree that the Developer will provide the provision of exemplary sustainable building practises through LEED Gold Certification consisting of LEED Consulting and Certification, Energy Modeling and Enhanced Envelope, LEED Commissioning and Verification and LEED Construction Management and Documentation as the Public Benefit required under subsections 12(1) and 12(7) of the Land Use By-law for the Property.

  • Pre-commissioning means the testing, checking, and any other required activity that may be specified in the Technical Requirements that are to be carried out by the Supplier in preparation for Commissioning of the System as provided in GCC Clause 26 (Installation).

  • Scheduled Commissioning Date or “SCD” of the Project shall mean [Insert Date];

  • Commissioning means the process for determining the need for and for obtaining the supply of healthcare and related services by the Trust within available resources.

  • Commissioning Date means that date when construction of the contemplated Project is complete, and the Maintenance Term commences;

  • Commissioning test means tests applied to a distributed generation facility by the applicant after construction is completed to verify that the facility does not create adverse system impacts and performs to the submitted specifications. At a minimum, the scope of the commissioning tests performed shall include the commissioning test specified in Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE) Standard 1547 Section 5.4 "Commissioning tests".
