Examples of Leave from work in a sentence

  • Leave from work for this purpose shall be with pay and shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • The time limits specified in Section 8.3 for disciplinary records to remain in force and effect shall be held in abeyance for an employee during the term of an employee’s layoff or other unpaid leave of absence (excluding Family Medical Leave) from work lasting more than ten (10) consecutive workdays.

  • Leave from work to accommodate a pregnancy related disability preventing the employee from performing her essential job duties or causing an undue risk to the employee or the employee’s pregnancy as determined by a health care provider.

  • Leave from work will be granted to attend to an ill family member and may be deducted from an employee’s sick leave bank, which can be taken in 2 hour increments.

  • Leave from work due to illness shall be subject to the policies and procedures of BioTime, and subject to the provisions of this Agreement governing termination due to disability, sickness or illness.

  • Leave from work due to pregnancy shall be provided as required by applicable state and federal law and in accordance with existing City policy.
