Learning Support definition

Learning Support means remedial or developmental coursework required by the postsecondary institution or chosen by the student that does not count toward program requirements for the Diploma, Certificate or Degree the student is seeking.
Learning Support. Means Funding to enable providers to put in place a reasonable adjustment, set out in the Equality Act 2010, for Learners with an identified learning difficulty and/or disability to achieve their learning goal.

Examples of Learning Support in a sentence

  • Those students whose official TOEFL score is between 460-499 (paper-based test), 140-173 (computer-based test), or 48-61 (Internet-based test) will be required to enter the Learning Support Services English and Reading programs.

  • Learning Support must not be used to deal with everyday difficulties that are not directly associated with a learner's learning on their programme.

  • Where Learning Support requirements exceed the fixed monthly rate and/or the required support does not meet the ESF actual costs eligibility criteria you should raise this with your GLA Provider Manager prior to incurring expenditure.

  • Providers should note that although your Contract is a four-year contract, there may be changes to entitlements and payment arrangements for Learner and Learning Support in future years by us or by the Government.

  • A member of Learning Support Services also assists students in the Center.

  • Implement a continuum of academic, behavioral, and/or other intervention strategies through the Universal Learning Support System (ULSS), as ULSS is the district’s model of Response to Intervention and Instruction (RtI2).

  • Each invoice submitted by the Eligible Postsecondary Institution must include Enrolled-Hours, Paid-Hours, Learning Support and the student’s program of study information, when applicable to the program.

Related to Learning Support

  • qualifying support means income support to which that person is entitled by virtue of paragraph 14B of Schedule 1B to the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987; and

  • First Level Support means any support relating to calls from Customer’s customers, end users or affiliates or general resolution of user errors, network errors, provisioning errors or Internet delays or malfunctions.

  • Cloud BPO Support means the then-current technical support services SAP provides to Provider for the SAP Cloud Services as described in the Cloud BPO Schedule.

  • SAP Support means SAP's then current support offering made available to Customer, as stated in the Order Form.

  • Helpdesk Support means the 24x7x365 centre which shall handle Fault reporting, Trouble Ticketing and related enquiries during this contract.

  • Technical Support means the technical assistance for attempting resolution of a reported Case through error correction, patches, hot fixes, workarounds, replacement deliveries, or any other type of Product corrections or modifications.

  • Technical Support Services means the technical support and maintenance Services provided by us according to our then-current technical support policy and procedure listed at xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx (“Technical Support Policy”) when the Services are purchased.

  • Level 1 Support means qualifying and logging all Technical Support Incidents, answering technical inquiries via telephone support and email regarding the Work and performing limited diagnostic services.

  • Level 2 Support means, with the use of technical support specialists: (i) performing Defect isolation, Defect replication and interoperability testing; (ii) performing remote diagnostic services and on-site troubleshooting, if required; (iii) identifying the source of Defects; (iv) developing a reproducible test case for any Defect and documenting the details of such Defect for escalation to Level 3 Support; and (v) developing and implementing Workarounds where reasonably possible.

  • Child support services means any civil, criminal or administrative action taken by the Division of

  • Counseling services means services provided by qualified social workers, psychologists, guidance counselors, or other qualified personnel.

  • Payment Initiation Service Provider or “PISP” means an authorised third party provider which provides a service that allows that third party to pass payment instructions to us on your behalf in relation to your Account.

  • Specified Personnel means the personnel specified in the Contract to provide the Services.

  • Feedback means input regarding the SAP Products, services, business or technology plans, including, without limitation, comments or suggestions regarding the possible creation, modification, correction, improvement or enhancement of the SAP Products and/or services, or input as to whether Partner believes SAP’s development direction is consistent with their own business and IT needs.

  • Customer Support means the services by which 21Vianet may provide assistance to Customer to resolve issues with the Services.
