Learning by doing definition

Learning by doing which means students are assigned to a project with a non-profit organization and they are expected to implement TPS principles to make improvements in that work area. The students have weekly on–site sessions with the partner organizations as well as an in-class component. During this presentation, we will discuss curriculum development (including hands-on rapid experimentation), non-profit partner engagement, and reflections and lessons learned from the first pilot project launched as a part of this initiative.
