Layered Material definition

Layered Material means an inorganic material, such as a smectite clay mineral, that is in the form of a plurality of adjacent, bound layers and has a thickness, for each layer, of about 3 Å to about 50 Å, preferably about 10 Å. [0019] "Platelets" shall mean individual layers of the Layered Material.

  • Recycled material means any material that would otherwise be a useless, unwanted or discarded material except for the fact that the material still has useful physical or chemical properties after serving a specific purpose and can, therefore, be reused or recycled.

  • Standard Materials means all Materials not specified as Custom Materials.

  • Licensed Material means radioactive material received, possessed, used, transferred or disposed of under a general or specific license issued by the Agency.

  • Harvested Material means the grain or fodder from crops of the Licensed Varieties grown from Seed or Retained Seed.

  • Produced Material means records, software and other material, whether complete or not, that, as a result of this Agreement, are produced or provided by the Contractor or a Subcontractor and includes the Incorporated Material;
