Laydays definition

Laydays means the period set out in a Confirmation that designates the time period during which a Cargo is scheduled to be loaded or discharged, as the case may be.
Laydays means a range of 3 Days, the middle Day of which is the Scheduled Day and the Scheduled Day shall fall wholly within the Specified Month;
Laydays means the period of time, in days, specified in the Special Provisions, during which a Party’s Marine Vessel must complete loading or discharging of Product carried pursuant to this Agreement.

Examples of Laydays in a sentence

  • If the Vessel arrives within the Laydays, it is anticipated that loading of the Cargo may not be completed before the Laydays expire.

  • The Laydays in the relevant Confirmation constitute a window for arrival of the Vessel at the Cargo Transfer Point.

  • Anything to the contrary notwithstanding, Seller may, at its sole option, and without prejudice to its other rights and remedies, reject any Vessel which arrives at the Cargo Transfer Point after Laydays have expired.

More Definitions of Laydays

Laydays means days allowed for loading or unloading of a vessel as agreed upon between Owners and Charterers.
Laydays means the agreed period of time during which the Vessel is to arrive at the Terminal for loading or discharging as established by a mutual scheduling agreement, provided that such period of time is within the delivery period set forth in this Agreement.

Laydays refers to the Delivery Window at the load port specified in the Confirmation of this Agreement or subsequent individual delivery/receipt periods nominated and accepted in writing between scheduling contacts to this Agreement.

  • Hours means sequential sixty (60) minute time frames.

  • Daytime means the period between sunrise and sunset.

  • Working Days means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday in England and Wales; and

  • Working Hours means 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on a Business Day.

  • Normal Working Hours means between the hours of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, inclusive. Saturdays, Sundays, and County holidays are excluded.
