Launch Campaign definition

Launch Campaign means the activities and discussions leading up to and including Payload to Launch Vehicle integration at the Launch Site through Launch.
Launch Campaign means, with respect to a Satellite, those services provided by Contractor in support of each Launch mission prior to Launch, including packing and shipping the Satellite in an environmentally controlled container to the Designated Launch Site, procuring and maintaining all-risk ground insurance up to, but not including, Launch (as required by Article 25 (Insurance)), providing high-pressure injection of propellant into the Satellite's fuel tanks, configuring the Satellite so as to render it Ready for Launch, Launch Vehicle Interface Activities, and assisting the Launch Agency in assuring the Satellite is properly integrated with the Launch Vehicle, all as further defined in Exhibit B (SOW).
Launch Campaign means, with respect to each launch, the period beginning from the date of arrival of individuals of Purchaser or Purchaser's contractors, subcontractors and suppliers at any tier or Purchaser Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to the Launch Site or from the date on which Purchaser begins autonomous operations on the Satellite, whichever is earlier, until the date on which Purchaser completes placement of all Purchaser GSE into a stand-by or storage phase condition or until the date on which all Purchaser GSE is removed from the Launch Site

Examples of Launch Campaign in a sentence

  • Until the new Launch Campaign Period, Launch Slot or Launch Date is selected in accordance with this Section 6.3, the then-current Launch Schedule shall remain in effect.

  • Opportunities All Customer and Contractor requests for adjustment of the Launch Campaign Period, or the Launch Slot or Launch Date, shall be made by giving written notice to the other Party in accordance with Section 8.3. The Parties will cooperate in good faith to adjust the Launch Campaign Period or select a new Launch Slot or Launch Date, as applicable.

  • Period No later than [***…***] months prior to the commencement of the Launch Campaign Period, Customer shall provide Contractor a written notice: (i) confirming the Launch Campaign Period designated in Section 5.1; or (ii) adjusting the Launch Campaign Period in accordance with Section 6.1.1.

  • The review is co-chaired by the ARIANE Production Project Manager (CPAP) and the Launch Campaign Quality Director (CQCL).

  • The price for Launch Campaign and LEOP services for each of the Ground Spare Satellite and 4th and 5th Optional Satellites, including taxes and documentation, is [*****], for each such Satellite ordered by Customer from EDC through September 22, 2000.

  • Customer may order Launch Campaign and/or LEOP services for the Ground Spare Satellite and the 4th and 5th Optional Satellites at any time prior to [*****] before the scheduled Launch Date for the applicable Ground Spare Satellite and/or 4th and 5th Optional Satellites.

  • Customer may order Sea Launch Launch Campaign and/or LEOP services for the Ground Spare Satellite and the 4th and 5th Optional Satellites at any time prior to [***] before the scheduled Launch Date for the applicable Ground Spare Satellite and/or 4th and 5th Optional Satellites.


More Definitions of Launch Campaign

Launch Campaign means the period beginning at the arrival of the Satellite(s) to the Launch Site and ending at the moment of departure of GLLC's and/or its Associate's ground equipment. Launch Day or Day means a calendar day (established for the Launch pursuant to this Agreement) within the Launch Slot during which the Launch is scheduled to occur. Launch Opportunity means the availability to GLLC within a Launch Period or Launch Slot of a Launch on a Soyuz Launch Vehicle of the GLLC Satellite(s). Such availability is linked to the time required to complete the mission analysis studies and to select the Launch Vehicle/Satellite(s)configuration. Launch Period or Period means a period of THREE (3) consecutive months.

Furthermore, there shall be no liability of the Launch Agency or the Launch Agency's Associates (as defined below) for any loss or damage to Contractor or Purchaser or their respective Associated Suppliers resulting from the intentional destruction of the Launch Vehicle(s) or Satellite(s) in furtherance of Launch Site safety measures. Each Party hereby irrevocably agrees to be bound by a no-fault, no-subrogation inter-party waiver of liability and related indemnity provisions and waives the right to make any claims or to initiate any proceedings whether judicial, arbitral, or administrative on account of any loss, damage or bodily injury (including death) against the other Party or that Party's Associated Suppliers, the Launch Agency and the Launch Agency's Associates (as defined below) arising out of or relating to the provision of Launch. Services or Associated Services or Services (as defined in this Contract) performed under or related to performance of this Contract for any reason whatsoever (the foregoing waiver and indemnity referred to in this Section (H) as the "Inter-party Waiver"). Launch Campaign means the period starting when the Launch Vehicle is rolled out from the Launch Vehicle integration facility to the launch pad, including any pre-flight tests and fuelling operations, to the earlier of the completion of the Launch Mission or the Launch Mission Failure or the Launch Vehicle total destruction.
