LASH definition

LASH means a maritime industry abbreviation for "Lighter Aboard Ship." A specially constructed vessel equipped with an overhead crane for lifting specially designed barges and stowing them into cellular slots in an athwart ship position.
LASH means the condition in which the steering wheel may be turned through some part of a revolution without associ- ated movement of the wheel or wheels that turn the vehicle.
LASH means the Local Area Safety and Health committee established by the University of Manitoba in accordance with the provisions of The Workplace Safety and Health Act (Manitoba).
