Landscape Consultant definition

Landscape Consultant means the Landscape Architect or qualified landscape designer that is retained by the Developer to be responsible for the design, layout and supervision of installation of landscape and related work; recording as-built information; certifying that the material and installation is in accordance with the standards, design drawings and design specifications; and performing those duties in connection with the provision of municipal services as set out in these Municipal Development Standards.
Landscape Consultant means the Owner’s Professional Architect and/or Certified Arborist who is engaged and retained in accordance with this Agreement.
Landscape Consultant means the Landscape Architect that is retained by the Developer to be responsible for the preparation of design drawings, and design specifications; performing, or appointing a qualified representative to perform, the layout and supervision of the installation of landscaping and related work; recording as-built information; certifying that the material and installation is in accordance with these standards, design drawings, and design specifications; and performing those duties in connection with the provision of municipal improvements as set out in these Municipal Development Standards.

Examples of Landscape Consultant in a sentence

  • The developer shall engage the Landscape Consultant to procure, oversee and supervise the landscape contract for the implementation of the permitted landscape proposals.

  • When all landscape works are inspected and completed to the satisfaction of the Landscape Consultant, he/she shall submit a Practical Completion Certificate (PCC) to the planning authority for written agreement, as verification that the approved landscape plans and specification have been fully implemented.

  • Prior to the commencement of development, the developer shall retain the professional services of a qualified Landscape Architect as Landscape Consultant throughout the life of the site development works and shall notify the planning authority of that appointment in writing.

  • A landscape plan, prepared by a qualified Landscape Architect or Landscape Consultant, to a scale of 1:100 or 1:200, conforming to Council's Landscaping Code and all other relevant conditions of this Consent, must be submitted to Council or the accredited certifier for approval with or before the application for a Construction Certificate.

  • A qualified Landscape Consultant shall be retained for the duration of the construction of the development and upon the satisfactory completion of the landscaping work and prior to the issue of an Occupation Certificate, submit to the Principal Certifying Authority a Certificate of Practical Completion stating that the work has been carried out in accordance with the approved Landscape Plan and that a maintenance program has been established.

  • To ensure full implementation of the proposed landscape plan, the developer is required to retain the services of a Landscape Consultant throughout the life of the site development works.

  • The scope of the services of the Landscape Consultant is to consist of plans and specifications and inspection for planting of trees and shrubs only.

  • A completion certificate shall be signed off by the Landscape Consultant when all works are completed and in line with the submitted landscape drawings.

Related to Landscape Consultant

  • Sub-consultant means an entity to whom the Consultant intends to subcontract any part of the Services while the Consultant remains responsible to the Procuring Entity during the whole performance of the Contract.

  • The Consultant means the person, partnership or company with whom this Contract is placed.

  • Consulting Engineer /"Consultant" shall mean any firm or person duly appointed as such from time to time by the owner.

  • Consulting Services means services of an advisory and intellectual nature provided by consultants using their professional skills to study, design, organize, and manage projects, encompassing multiple activities and disciplines, including the crafting of sector policies and institutional reforms, specialist advice, legal advice and integrated solutions, change management and financial advisory services, planning and engineering studies, and architectural design services, supervision, social and environmental assessments, technical assistance, and programme implementation;

  • Consultant means any person, including an advisor, engaged by the Company or a Parent or Subsidiary to render services to such entity.
