Laboratory Tests definition

Laboratory Tests. All laboratory specimens collected as a required component of a THSteps checkup (see Medicaid Provider Procedures Manual for age-specific requirements) must be submitted to the HHSC Laboratory for analysis. HMO must educate providers about THSteps program requirements for submitting laboratory tests to the HHSC Bureau of Laboratories.
