Lessee shall remain responsible and liable for any costs, expenses and liabilities arising out of or in any way connected with ▇▇▇▇▇ drilled by Lessee on the Leased Land, whether abandoned or note during the term of this lease, and any extensions or renewals thereof, and thereafter Lessee will indemnify KLDC and Lessor for any costs, expenses and liabilities in connection therewith for a period of twenty (20) years.
This lease is made expressly subject to the terms and conditions of the lease between KLDC, as Lessor, and Kapoho Land Partnership, as Lessee, the geothermal lease or leases granted by the State of Hawaii, ("State Lease") an application for which has been made to the State of Hawaii, as Lessor, and by the Kapoho Land Partnership, as Lessee, and is subject to any agricultural lease or leases heretofore entered into between KLDC or Lessor and any tenant with respect to all or any part of the Leased Land.
