Key Drop definition

Key Drop means a delivery of food and goods to an establishment that occurs when it is closed. Distributors deliver and place products in coolers, freezers and dry goods storage areas for LATER confirmation of receipt and inspection by representatives of the establishment.

Examples of Key Drop in a sentence

  • For Stores participating in Key Drop Deliveries, Distributor’s driver will be responsible for delivering all freezer and chilled Products into the respective walk-ins via dolly, and shall stock Products on the shelves.

  • Stores participating in Key Drop Deliveries will receive Product on an honor system.

  • Stores unable to accept a Key Drop delivery will have Day Deliveries.

  • The keys must be returned into the Key Drop Box at the end of your event.

  • If needed, a Key Drop Agreement will be entered into for after hour deliveries.

  • Key Drop Deliveries must be completed before the Retail Outlet opens for business to be considered a “Key Drop Delivery” and shorts and damages must be called into Distributor by 11:00 a.m. the next business day following such Key Drop Delivery to qualify for credit from Distributor.

  • For Key Drop Deliveries, as defined in Section 3(b)(ii) of this Agreement, Participant must notify Distributor of shorts and damages by 11:00 a.m. the day the Product was delivered to be eligible for credit.

  • If a driver leaves a Store unlocked after a Key Drop Delivery, leaves keys in the lock or leaves a security system unarmed, Distributor will be charged for each instance.

  • Distributor agrees to an on-invoice discount of * for scheduled delivery access to all Participant’s Retail Outlets serviced by Distributor, excluding the previously discussed Black-Out Periods (includes potential Key Drop Deliveries) (“Open Windows Discount”).

  • If Distributor’s driver sets off an alarm at a Key Drop Delivery (other than because Participant did not provide the correct alarm code or due to an alarm malfunction) and there are charges incurred by the Participant as a result of such alarm, Distributor shall reimburse the applicable Participant for such charges.

  • Open type traction battery means a type of battery requiring filling with liquid and generating hydrogen gas that is released to the atmosphere.
