journalistic source means a source that confidentially transmits information to a journalist on the journalist’s undertaking not to divulge the identity of the source, whose anonymity is essential to the relationship between the journalist and the source, as defined Journalistic Sources Protection Act, SC 2017, c 22, s 2.
