Joint Research Project definition

Joint Research Project. (JRP) represents a research project jointly implemented by a group of researchers from Croatia and Switzerland; ••National Coordination Unif (NCU) means the Croatian Competent Authority in charge of the coordination of the Swiss-Croatian Cooperation Programme as defined in Art 9 of the Framework Agreement; "Intermediate Body (IB) is the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) mandated by SDC for the management of the Project; Executing Agency is the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) mandated by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) in accordance with the Annex I of the Framework Agreement to implement the Project financed under this Project Agreement; ;'Croatian Science Foundation" (CSF) is the partner of the SNSF in Croatia for the implementation ofthe Project; it carries out duties on behalf ofthe NCU with regard to Princioal Investigators in Croatia; ^ "Principal investigator" represents the leader of a group of researchers from Croatia or bwitzerland applying for a Joint Research Project;
Joint Research Project means a research and development project having a defined scope in which both Parties jointly participate by contributing personnel, research and development facilities, equipment, and/or other resources in order to develop Technology which is useful or potentially useful to at least one of the Parties.

Examples of Joint Research Project in a sentence

  • If a Joint Research Project Team is unable to reach unanimous agreement on any matter, such matter shall be referred to the Joint Research Committee.

  • Each Party shall have one vote on the Joint Research Committee (and each Joint Research Project Team).

  • Nothing in this MoU shall affect ownership of the Intellectual Property rights of either Party existing prior to the date of this MoU or generated by a Party not in the course of a Joint Research Project.

  • Either Party may change its designees to any Joint Research Project Team at any time upon written notice to the other Party.

  • Such Joint Research Project Teams shall be governed in the same manner and subject to the relevant requirements as set forth herein for the Joint Research Committee.

  • Both parties hereby agree to jointly undertake, perform and carry out the Joint Research Project.

  • In the event the University has, due to the extension of the Project Term pursuant to Article 12 hereof, reason to believe that the amounts of the Project Expenses paid or advanced by the parties hereof under this Agreement is expected to become insufficient to fully cover the costs and expenses of the Joint Research Project, it shall promptly notify the Research Partner thereof in writing.

  • Copies of any publications resulting from the Joint Research Project should be included in the final submission.

  • Each party hereto shall make available its facilities and equipment specified Item 7 of the agreed items for use by the Joint Research Project..

  • In the event the University is compelled to do so at any time due to any act of God, force majeure, or anther compelling reason, it may, after due consultation with the Research Partner, either terminate the Joint Research Project hereunder before its completion or extend the Project Term.
