Joint Pole definition

Joint Pole is a pole for which joint use is established or continued pursuant to the terms of this Agreement.
Joint Pole means a Pole owned by the Electric Utility that has both Electric Utility Facilities and Licensee’s Communications Facilities on the pole.
Joint Pole refers to a utility pole owned by the District and occupied with attachments or Wi-Fi attachments of other electric and telephone utilities, cable television companies, fiber optic companies, government agencies, or other private companies and individuals.

Examples of Joint Pole in a sentence

  • For the purpose of such Actual Inventory, any pole used by the Licensee for the sole purpose of attaching wires or cables thereto shall be considered a Joint Pole.

  • If in connection with the construction of a pole(s) the Licensee makes the payment required by this paragraph, then the Licensee shall in the future be entitled to attach on such pole(s) even if the pole(s) does not at that time become a Joint Pole.

  • The Licensee may at any time abandon the use of a Joint Pole by removing therefrom any and all Attachments it may have thereon and by giving written notice thereof.

  • If in connection with the construction of a Pole the Licensee makes the payment required by this paragraph, then the Licensee shall in the future be entitled to attach on such Pole even if the Pole does not at that time become a Joint Pole; provided, however, if the Licensee does not attach to the Pole within one (1) year from the date the Pole was set, then the Licensee shall no longer be entitled to attach on such Pole.

  • Should the Licensee fail to Transfer its Attachments to the new Joint Pole on the date specified for such Transfer of Attachments (after all Electric Utility Transfers have been accomplished), Electric Utility may elect to relinquish the ownership of the old pole from which it has removed its Attachments, with the giving of verbal notice to be subsequently followed in writing.

  • If Electric Utility desires at any time to abandon any Joint Pole, it shall, except as provided in ARTICLE VII - MAINTENANCE OF POLES AND ATTACHMENTS C., give the Licensee notice in writing to that effect at least sixty (60) days prior to the date on which it intends to abandon such pole.

  • When replacing a Joint Pole carrying terminals of aerial cable, underground connection, or transformer equipment, the new pole shall be set in the same hole which the replaced pole occupied, or immediately adjacent, and in a manner to facilitate Transfer of Attachments, unless special conditions make it desirable to set it in a different location.

  • Lessees shall follow all the technical standards with regard to their attachments in relation to the provisions set forth in the signed and notarized Joint Pole Agreement (JPA).

  • Should the Licensee fail to Transfer its Attachments to the new Joint Pole on the date specified for such Transfer of Attachments (after all Electric Utility Transfers have been accomplished), Electric Utility may elect to relinquish the ownership of the old pole from which it has removed its Attachments, with the giving of notice in writing fifteen (15) days prior to relinquishment to provide an opportunity to cure.

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary herein, this Master Agreement does not apply to electric utility poles jointly owned by the City and Licensee and governed by the Southern California Joint Pole Agreement and/or the Southern California Joint Pole Committee.
