Joint appointees definition

Joint appointees means a university, tenure-track faculty member selected for a permanent joint appointment with TJNAF via an international search by a joint University-Laboratory search committee. The joint appointment is initiated and covered by a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TJNAF and the institution. In exchange for these services, TJNAF reimburses the universities through a subcontract with the institution.
