Job Level definition

Job Level or "level" means a role in a job family having distinguishable characteristics such as knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
Job Level will mean a sub-grouping of jobs within a stream that differ from other groupings in terms of complexity, know-how and decision-making. A job level is deemed to be higher if it has a higher rate of pay.
Job Level means an Employer's internal hierarchical level of a job that is used to determine eligibility and participation in corporate programs and amenities.

Examples of Job Level in a sentence

  • If the employee fails to demonstrate such ability within ten (10) days actually worked, the rate will be reduced to the start wage rate of the Base Job Level.
