JERC definition

JERC means the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa and Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep referred to in sub- Section (1) of section 82 of the Act and constituted under the Act.
JERC means the Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission for the State of Goa & Union Territories constituted under Section-82 of Electricity Act, 2003 or its successors, and includes a Joint Commission constituted under Subsection (1) of Section 83 of Electricity Act 2003.
