Box 4790 Walnut Creek, CA 94596 Dear ▇▇. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇: The Joint Hiring Hall Committee met and is recommending the following change to the Hiring Hall Agreement, Letter Agreement 01-09-PGE for filling Utility Worker positions. Currently, under items C 1, C 2 and C 3 of "Hiring Hall Process and Procedures" Hiring Hall applicants who held higher classifications are given consideration for entry level positions in their line of progression, if they are interested or not. The committee recommends that Hiring Hall applicants notify the Union if they are interested in a Utility Worker dispatch. If the applicant is not interested, his/her name will be removed from the Utility Worker list. This change will result in a more efficient Hiring Hall dispatch and workers being dispatched to work in a more timely manner. Additional entry level classifications may be added to this procedure by agreement of the Joint Hiring Hall Committee, provided that the Hiring Hall applicants have been notified. The Company proposes to adopt the change in the procedure. If you are in accord with the foregoing and agree thereto, please so indicate in the space provided below and return one executed copy of this letter to the Company.
