Itinerary Changes. The itineraries presented in the promotion or on the website are subject to modification and change by the retreat leader, travel agency or its designated tour operator. Every reasonable effort will be made to operate programs as planned, but alterations may still occur after final itineraries are sent. Documentation: Participants are responsible for obtaining any documents required for their participation in the Wellness in Italy retreat such as a valid passport, all visas, vaccination certificates, and any other documents. Failure to obtain documents does not negate the terms and conditions, and any extra costs incurred for rerouting due to travel without the necessary documents will be the participant’s responsibility. Health Requirements: Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Any physical condition, diet, or treatment requiring special attention must be reported in writing on the Participant Form. The retreat leader encourages participants to consult a doctor for specific medical advice about any activities or destinations. Certain tours, treks or expeditions may require that the participant obtain medical consent prior to departure as a condition of participation. The participant acknowledges that the retreat leader promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and also provides an opportunity to participate in a variety of different activities that may cause injury or death. The activities the participant participates in may involve physical and mental limits and this may carry with it the potential for serious injury or death. The participant voluntarily participants in all activities and recognizes that it is at his/her own risk. The participant is aware of the risks associated with strenuous physical activity and will notify the retreat leader of any health-related concerns or complications. The participant is aware of the risks associated with traveling to and from as well as participating in various activities, which may include but are not limited to physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability (including paralysis), economic or emotional loss, and death. The participant understands that these injuries or outcomes are rare and may arise from his or her own or others’ negligence, conditions related to travel, or the condition of the activity location.
