If the Teacher is assessed by ISTAA as no longer meeting the ISTAA Professional Excellence standards or the Teacher's accreditation at Highly Accomplished Teacher level by the NESA or TQI is revoked, the Teacher will cease to be entitled to be paid the Professional Excellence Allowance from the first full pay period on or after the assessment or revocation.

Upon entry to Step P1 a teacher is entitled to apply for entry to the Experienced Teacher classification (Step EXP) via ISTAA.

The Teacher will be eligible to apply for ISTAA EXP assessment upon reaching Step P1.
To progress to Step EXP a Teacher must satisfy the requirements of Agreement Sub-section 35.3. EXP Experienced 102 Upon entry to Step EXP a teacher is entitled to apply for entry to the Highly Accomplished Teacher classification (Step HAT) via ISTAA.
