Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.
PCI DSS means the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards.
CLIA means the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 or any successor statutes.
Uniform Network Code means the uniform network code as defined in Standard Special Condition A11(6) of National Grid’s transporters licence, as such code may be amended from time to time in accordance with the terms thereof.
Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier or its Affiliates which is used or supplied by the Supplier in the provision of the Services; Supplier Staff means all persons employed or engaged by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Contract; Time and Materials means the pricing mechanism for the Services as may be agreed by the Parties and set out at paragraph Error: Reference source not found in the SOW; TUPE means the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (SI 2006/246) as amended or replaced or any other regulations or UK legislation implementing the Acquired Rights Directive; Velocity means the Metric which measures the total number of Story Points for Stories that have been accepted in a Sprint, indicating the rate of progress towards Acceptance of all Stories from the Product Backlog;
LEED means the leadership in energy and environmental design green building rating system developed by the United States Green Building Council.
Contractor System means the information and communications technology system used by the Contractor in performing the Services including the Software, the Contractor Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Authority System).
Technical safeguards means the technology and the policy and procedures for its use that 27 protect electronic PHI and control access to it.
Manufacturer means the person or body who is responsible to the approval authority for all aspects of the type approval process and for ensuring conformity of production. It is not essential that the person or body is directly involved in all stage of the construction of the vehicle, system, component or separate technical unit which is the subject of the approval process.
Technical standard means a document that specifies design, predicted performance and operation and maintenance specifications for a material, device or method.
Supplier System means the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including the Software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Customer System);
Licensure means the status of a licensee when OCCL issued a child care license when the applicant demonstrated compliance with these regulations and applicable codes, regulations, and laws.
OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Web Site Accessibility Standards/Specifications means standards contained in Title 1 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 206.
Quality Standards means the quality standards published by BSI British Standards, the National Standards Body of the United Kingdom, the International Organisation for Standardisation or other reputable or equivalent body, (and their successor bodies) that a skilled and experienced operator in the same type of industry or business sector as the Contractor would reasonably and ordinarily be expected to comply with, and as may be further detailed in the Specification.
cGMP means current Good Manufacturing Practice as set forth in the United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, as amended, and includes all rules and regulations promulgated by the FDA thereunder.

safety standard means the Code of Practice for the Wiring of Premises SANS 10142-1 incorporated in the Regulations;
Year 2000 Compliant means, with respect to the Company's Information Technology, that the Information Technology is designed to be used prior to, during and after the calendar Year 2000, and the Information Technology used during each such time period will accurately receive, provide and process date and time data (including, but not limited to, calculating, comparing and sequencing) from, into and between the 20th and 21st centuries, including the years 1999 and 2000, and leap-year calculations, and will not malfunction, cease to function, or provide invalid or incorrect results as a result of the date or time data, to the extent that other information technology, used in combination with the Information Technology, properly exchanges date and time data with it. The Company has delivered to the Buyers true and correct copies of all analyses, reports, studies and similar written information, whether prepared by the Company or another party, relating to whether the Information Technology is Year 2000 Compliant, if any.
traceability means the ability to trace and follow a food, feed, food-producing animal or substance intended to be, or expected to be incorporated into a food or feed, through all stages of production, processing and distribution;
Reliability Standard means a requirement to provide for reliable operation of the bulk power system, including without limiting the foregoing requirements for the operation of existing bulk power system facilities, including cybersecurity protection, and the design of planned additions or modifications to such facilities to the extent necessary for reliable operation of the bulk power system, but shall not include any requirement to enlarge bulk power system facilities or to construct new transmission capacity or generation capacity.
Service User means the person directly receiving the Services provided by the Provider as specified in the Service Specifications and includes their Carer and Legal Guardian where appropriate Service Quality Performance Report means a report as described in Appendix J (Service Quality Performance Report)
Guide dog means a guide dog as defined in section 1 of the Blind Persons’ Rights Act
compatibility means compatibility as defined in point (10) of Article 2 of Directive (EU) 2019/770;
PDMA means the Prescription Drug Marketing Act of 1987, as amended from time to time, together with any rules or regulations promulgated thereunder.
NERC Reliability Standards means the most recent version of those reliability standards applicable to the Generating Facility, or to the Generator Owner or the Generator Operator with respect to the Generating Facility, that are adopted by the NERC and approved by the applicable regulatory authorities, which are available at xxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxx/files/Reliability_Standards_Complete_Set.pdf, or any successor thereto.
