ISAN definition

ISAN means the unique number generated, allocated, managed and stored by ISAN-IA upon application by a registrant filed via an appointed RA for the unique identification of an audiovisual work, in accordance with ISO 15706-1 & ISO 15706-2 and their amendments.

Examples of ISAN in a sentence

  • The Contract for Services shall contain the following information: name, home address, social insurance number, date of engagement, compensation rate, name of Motion Picture, ISAN and/or V-ISAN number, individual Episode name and number if applicable, and basis of engagement (i.e., daily, weekly, or specific term).

  • The access to the ISAN System falls under Swiss and International Legislation concerning author's rights and intellectual property rights.

  • The User will hold ISO, ISAN-IA, the ISAN TR Agency, and any other ISAN Registration Agency and their contractors, harmless against any third-party claims for any damage supposed or proven arising from the usage of ISAN, ISAN data and/or the ISAN System.

  • The Registrant shall abide to the current version of the ISAN User Guide, available on the ▇▇▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ website at the time of ISAN System utilization.
