IP Income definition

IP Income means income which accrues to the business from IP assets and IP activities (such income being separately identifiable from any income generated from any tangible asset);
IP Income means cumulative payments received by the university from royalties, option fees, license fees, the sale of UIP, and any other payments that are made to the University in consideration of the grant or transfer of the commercial rights of UIP;
IP Income means cumulative cash payments received by the University as consideration under a valid IP Agreement; this includes licence execution payments, ongoing royalty payments, milestone payments, option payments, performance payments, assignment fees and any other cash payments that are made to the University in consideration of the grant or transfer of the commercial rights of the UL Intellectual Property; IP Income, however, excludes:

Examples of IP Income in a sentence

  • The Cash Bonus for any fiscal year shall be an amount equal to the IP Income Bonus plus the EBITDA Bonus.

  • Except as otherwise provided in Sections 2.09, 2.12 and 6.02(d), IP may take any position on or make any elections or other determinations with respect to any IP Income Tax Return in its sole and absolute discretion and Spinco shall have no rights with respect to any IP Income Tax Return.

  • Our approach will identify the Discounted Cashflow Percentage to the IP Income Contribution (post-EBITDA), which we arrived at after discounting the FMPV of business assets upon a Five-Year Schedule.
