Involuntary Redundancy definition

Involuntary Redundancy where the staff member has not accepted an offer of voluntary redundancy and is unable to be redeployed;
Involuntary Redundancy means when an Employee has not accepted an offer of voluntary redundancy and is unable to be redeployed. Voluntary Redundancy is where an Employee volunteers to take a redundancy; Voluntary Separation means a set of entitlements provided by the University consistent with the voluntary redundancy provided for in clause 62 of the Agreement.
Involuntary Redundancy. Involuntarily Redundant" means termination of employment as a result of an employee’s position/role no longer being required by Ausgrid, the employee being unable to be appointed to an alternate position and that employee not accepting a Voluntary Redundancy Offer. Payment will be made in accordance with clause 2.8 of this Appendix.

Examples of Involuntary Redundancy in a sentence

  • In the event that Council has been unable to identify a suitable permanent redeployment opportunity within the 12 month redeployment period the employee shall be formally advised and the provisions of Clause 64.6 Involuntary Redundancy will be applied.
