INVESTIGATION: DISCOVERY definition
INVESTIGATION: DISCOVERY. HEARING: DECISION: The arbitrators to whom a dispute is submitted shall conduct such investigations and hearings as shall be reasonably necessary, and the written decision of the majority shall be submitted to both parties within thirty (30) days after the referral unless the arbitrators determine that further time is reasonably required to make a proper investigation of the relevant facts. In addition to the powers conferred by law or this agreement, a majority of the arbitrators shall have the power to compel oral or documentary evidence from either party or any other person or firm at the request of either party for discovery purposes. The arbitration shall take place in San Diego, California.
