Invasive (Alien) Plant definition

Invasive (Alien) Plant means any invasive alien plant species that has the potential to pose undesirable or detrimental impacts on humans, animals or ecosystems and identified under the Forest and Range Practices Act’s Invasive Plants Regulation.

Examples of Invasive (Alien) Plant in a sentence

  • Plant species listed in the most current Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation’s (DCR) Invasive Alien Plant List shall not be used for re-vegetation for activities authorized by any NWP.

  • The agreement holder will review the Invasive Alien Plant Program (IAPP) data set during operational planning to be informed of known locations of invasive plants near planned operations.
