Introductory Employee: An employee on a trial status during the initial period of employment.
An "Introductory Employee" is a new employee who has not completed ninety (90) calendar days of active employment in the position.
The employee shall be subject to the introductory period set forth in Section 4.1 (Introductory Employee) unless the employee is in the same job classification.
An Introductory Employee will be allowed to use paid or unpaid sick leave with the understanding that the Employee's Introductory and/or Training Period will be extended proportionately.
