Introductory Employee definition

Introductory Employee means any employee who has worked less than the introductory period as set forth in these rules or in the case of a bargaining unit the introductory period shall be that period defined in the collective bargaining agreement.
Introductory Employee refers to any employee was has been working for the Division of Transportation for less than a minimum of six consecutive months regardless of whether that employee is a new employee of the County of Lake or an employee who has been rehired after leaving employment with the Division of Transportation or another department of the County of Lake. All introductory employees shall serve a minimum introductory period of at least six (6) consecutive months. The discipline, demotion, or discharge of an introductory employee shall not be a violation of this Agreement. An introductory employee has no right to use the grievance procedure contained in Article 7.
Introductory Employee refers to any employee who has been working for the employer for less than a minimum of twelve (12) consecutive months regardless of whether that employee is a new employee of the employer or an employee who has been rehired after leaving employment with the employer. All introductory employees shall serve a minimum introductory period of at least twelve (12) consecutive months. The discipline, demotion, or discharge of an introductory employee shall not be a violation of this Agreement nor subject to the grievance procedure contained in Article 17. .

Examples of Introductory Employee in a sentence

  • Introductory Employee: An employee on a trial status during the initial period of employment.

  • An "Introductory Employee" is a new employee who has not completed ninety (90) calendar days of active employment in the position.

  • The employee shall be subject to the introductory period set forth in Section 4.1 (Introductory Employee) unless the employee is in the same job classification.

More Definitions of Introductory Employee

Introductory Employee means any employee who has not yet successfully completed his/her introductory period.
Introductory Employee means an Employee who has not yet completed sixty (60) days of continuous service with the District. Introductory Employees shall not be entitled to any grievance rights under this Agreement, but shall retain any rights preserved to such Employees pursuant to the Public School Code of 1949. All introductory employees hired after the effective date of this Agreement shall serve an introductory period of at least twelve consecutive months. The discipline, demotion, or discharge of an introductory employee shall not be a violation of this Agreement nor subject to the grievance procedure contained in Article 13.
