Interruption Expenses definition

Interruption Expenses means those expenses, excluding “special expenses”, which you incur in accordance with the provisions of Coverage Agreement F, paragraph 2. or Coverage Agreement H, to:
Interruption Expenses means reasonable and necessary expenses, excluding Special Expenses, incurred by You to avoid or minimize the suspension of Your business as a result of a System Failure, which You would not have incurred in the absence of such System Failure, including, but not limited to, the use of rented/leased external equipment, substitution of other work or production procedures, use of Third Party services or additional staff expenditures or labor costs. The amount of Interruption Expenses recoverable shall not exceed the amount by which the covered Income Loss is reduced by such incurred expenses.

Examples of Interruption Expenses in a sentence

  • If ▇▇▇▇▇ is unable to obtain replacement Gas and must call on electric utilities to alter their generation to allow Buyer access to additional Gas, Buyer will incur Interruption Expenses as defined by § 1205 of Buyer’s Tariff, and this shall represent the purchase price of Buyer’s replacement Gas.

  • This Special Contract does not affect the Customer’s right for reimbursement if the Customer incurs Interruption Expenses for events unrelated to curtailment or interruption of the transportation of the Contracted Peak Demand.
