Internet Access Device definition

Internet Access Device means set-top boxes and devices ---------------------- incorporated within television sets through which a consumer may access information, content, text, images, graphics and artistic renderings, characterizations, photography, audio, video, animations, databases, HTML files, VRML files, and other material available from the Internet World Wide Web. This definition may be updated upon consent of both parties to this Agreement.
Internet Access Device means a personal computer or mobile communications device used primarily for connection to the Internet, and incidentally used for the purpose of playing authorized Internet poker games offered by a licensee.

Examples of Internet Access Device in a sentence

  • You should immediately contact the device manufacturer or the retailer where you purchased the Internet Access Device.

  • Subscriber affirms and agrees that: (i) there are no warranties, promises or guarantees that UCS makes regarding the performance of the battery; and, (ii) Subscriber will not be able to use the UCS VoIP Calling Service if the Internet Access Device’s electrical power is interrupted and the Internet Access Device does not have a functioning battery backup.

  • If you have any issues or questions regarding the Internet Access Device, you provide to use with the UCS Internet Service.

  • In the case where Subscriber has provided a backup battery during a power outage, to provide service to Subscriber Premises and that battery backup is equipped with and connected to a capable Internet Access Device, Subscriber’s UCS Service may remain available if the UCS network remains available.

  • You understand and acknowledge that Zocial has no responsibility or liability for your ability or inability to access or take advantage of any Wireless Features due to your carrier, your phone service plan, your Internet Access Device, or any other Third-Party Component.

  • Your carrier may prohibit or restrict certain Wireless Features and certain Wireless Features may be incompatible with your carrier or wireless Internet Access Device.

  • The length of time that the UCS VoIP Calling Service is available to Subscriber throughout a power outage will depend on a number of factors: (i) the age and condition of the backup battery; (ii) the battery is properly installed and connected to the Internet Access Device and remains so; and (iii) Subscriber limits the amount of Subscriber’s call usage, and the use of the UCS VoIP Calling Service, Internet Access Device’s power is being drawn from the battery.

  • Cordless phones and handsets or other forms of calling device equipment connected to a telephone line, TDD device or electronic printer that use and draw on power from Subscriber’s Premises cannot be charged by a backup battery connected to an Internet Access Device.

  • Further UCS will have no obligation to you of any kind to maintain, repair, support, install or replace any Internet Access Device that you provide.

  • If you choose to provide your own Internet Access Device, it must be fully compliant and in accordance with all use standards determined by UCS.
