internal waters means any navigable river or waterway within the State of California.
Internal combustion engine or ‘engine’ means an energy converter, other than a gas turbine, designed to transform chemical energy (input) into mechanical energy (output) with an internal combustion process; it includes, where they have been installed, the emission control system and the communication interface (hardware and messages) between the engine's electronic control unit(s) and any other powertrain or non-road mobile machinery control unit necessary to comply with Chapters II and III;
Internal Systems means the Software and documentation and the computer, communications and network systems (both desktop and enterprise-wide), servers, hardware, equipment, materials and apparatus used by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries in its business or operations or to develop, manufacture, fabricate, assemble, provide, distribute, support, maintain or test the products manufactured, distributed, licensed or sold by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, whether located on the premises of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or hosted at a third party site.
Internal audit means an independent appraisal activity within an agency for the review of operations as a service to management, including a systematic examination of accounting and fiscal controls to assure that human and material resources are guarded against waste, loss, or misuse; and that reliable data are gathered, maintained, and fairly disclosed in a written report of the audit findings.
External Verifier means any qualified provider of third party assurance or attestation services or other independent expert of internationally recognised standing appointed by the Issuer, in each case with the expertise necessary to perform the functions required to be performed by the External Verifier under these Conditions, as determined in good faith by the Issuer;
