Internal Computer definition
Internal Computer. The instrument shall have an embedded Windows-based computer with the following features. Windows compatible; 100 GB drive; 4 GB RAM; USB ports; network and/or wifi capacity if possible. Note: These features are minimum requirements. Access and security Roles: The instrument shall have functionality for secure access by designated users with different levels of security. Data Export: The instrument shall generate an export file that is easily imported into GeneMapper ID-X through the use of at least one USB port to transfer data. NOTE: The RapidHIT ID system generates a .fsa file that can be imported into GeneMapper ID-X; however, please note this was not part of our developmental validation and is not currently supported by our Human Identification (HID) business unit.
