Interdisciplinary Program definition

Interdisciplinary Program means a grouping of related courses outside a Department for which there is a distinct academic credential normally offered during the Academic Year.

  • Area Directors and Interdisciplinary Program Directors shall be selected in accordance with university procedures.

  • When an Employee with an Interdisciplinary Appointment is to receive course reduction, the Head(s) or Interdisciplinary Program Coordinator(s) shall consult with the Employee in order to determine which Academic Unit(s) shall receive the reduction.

  • The CCD shall be appointed by the President normally for a three-year term, upon the recommendation of the CCD Selection Committee, who shall have had an opportunity to receive input from all members of the Department or Interdisciplinary Program (IDP).
