Interac Flash® definition

Interac Flash® means the contactless payment feature that allows you to make purchases at select merchants, without having to swipe or insert your card and enter a PIN.

  • Interac Flash® transactions will default to the pre-selected Account.

  • In the event of a problem with a transaction using the Card and PIN, or Card and Interac Flash®, or an unauthorized transaction using the Card and PIN, or Card and Interac Flash® other than a matter related to goods and services provided by Merchants, the Member will report the issue promptly to Alterna Savings and Alterna Savings will investigate and respond to the issue on a timely basis.

  • This Agreement replaces any prior agreement governing the use of the Card and PIN and/or Interac Flash® but does not replace or supersede and agreement or provision of any agreement relating to any loan, credit facility or the operation of any account.

  • If the Card is enabled with Interac Flash®, Alterna Savings will select and link an Account to the Member’s debit card.

  • This Agreement applies to any account specified herein and as well as any other account designated by the Member from time to time for use in connection with the Card and PIN and/or the Card and Interac Flash®.

  • Members can have Interac Flash® disabled or re-enabled by calling Alterna’s Contact Centre or by visiting any Alterna Savings Branch.

  • Client can have Interac Flash® disabled or re-enabled by calling Alterna’s Contact Centre or by visiting any Alterna Bank Branch.

  • In the event of a problem with a transaction using the Card and PIN, or Card and Interac Flash®, an unauthorized transaction using the Card and PIN, or Card and Interac Flash® other than a matter related to goods and services provided by Merchants, the Client will report the issue promptly to Alterna Bank and Alterna Bank will investigate and respond to the issue on a timely basis.

  • If the Card is enabled with Interac Flash®, Alterna Bank will select and link an Account to the Client’s debit card.

  • Digital Cross Connect System or "DCS" is a function which provides automated Cross Connection of Digital Signal Level 0 (DS0) or higher transmission bit rate digital channels within physical interface facilities. Types of DCS include but are not limited to DCS 1/0s, DCS 3/1s, and DCS 3/3s, where the nomenclature 1/0 denotes interfaces typically at the DS1 rate or greater with Cross Connection typically at the DS0 rate. This same nomenclature, at the appropriate rate substitution, extends to the other types of DCS specifically cited as 3/1 and 3/3. Types of DCS that cross connect Synchronous Transport Signal level 1 (STS-1 s) or other Synchronous Optical Network (SONET) signals (e.g., STS-3) are also DCS, although not denoted by this same type of nomenclature. DCS may provide the functionality of more than one of the aforementioned DCS types (e.g., DCS 3/3/1 which combines functionality of DCS 3/3 and DCS 3/1). For such DCS, the requirements will be, at least, the aggregation of requirements on the "component" DCS. In locations where automated Cross Connection capability does not exist, DCS will be defined as the combination of the functionality provided by a Digital Signal Cross Connect (DSX) or Light Guide Cross Connect (LGX) patch panels and D4 channel banks or other DS0 and above multiplexing equipment used to provide the function of a manual Cross Connection. Interconnection is between a DSX or LGX to a Switch, another Cross Connection, or other service platform device.

  • Interface means the mixture occurring in pipeline operations between adjoining batches having similar or dissimilar physical characteristics.

  • Boot camp means a short term secure or nonsecure juvenile residential facility with highly

  • Network pharmacy means any pharmacy that has an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance for prescription drugs and diabetic equipment/supplies covered under this agreement. All other pharmacies are NON-NETWORK PHARMACIES. The one exception and for the purpose of specialty Prescription Drugs, only specialty pharmacies that have an agreement to accept our pharmacy allowance are network pharmacies and all others pharmacies are non-network pharmacies.

  • HCD means the California Department of Housing and Community Development.
